Kehinde Ayobade – BiM specialist

My name is Kehinde Ayobade; A Bachelor’s degree holder in Civil Engineering with specialty in Structural Engineering.

I took interest in BIM at my penultimate year in the university and since then, I have been pursing a career in BIM for engineering. Over the years, I have gained experience as a BIM Coordinator with a facility management firm where I implemented BIM for as-built modelling and asset management.

My interest in IT related resources made me equip with soft and well sought skills such as visual and textual programming with the aim of developing Softwares, Packages and Machine learning workflows for automating redundant design tasks and solving many design problems encountered in the AEC industry. I also take interest in implementing Data structures (sciences) within the BIM space.

Working as a BIM specialist has opened me to the limitless possibilities of building design implementation with fast growing state of the art technologies and how to harness their power to efficiently deliver projects in their best quality.

I believe in BIM as a current solution to our many problems as industry practitioners and I have decided to adapt to whatever changes and developments it comes up with in the future so I can remain relevant to the AEC industry.
